Wife ordered this TV for my aniversary. Was not delivered in time. Pilot delivery company
did not left message. I run 20 miles and picked up myself. Inside was no remote, no cables,
no papers. Amazon told will not replace, will not sent missing parts, return will take 2-4
weeks and just after that I will get money back. Horable experience. WILL NEVER BUY FROM
AMAZON EVEN TOOTH PICK.

Everthing Sony sells is awesome when you first get it ,but when it gets a few years on it, things start going bad ,for instance my tv before the one i have now, the power supply went out of it, but only just past the warranty, ps3 quit playing movies and some games just out of warranty .but sony will fix any prob on a ps3 for [...]. i payed to have my ps3 fix and they did fix it , lasted just over a year wan’t play anything now . I baught a sony kdl-46xbr4 two years ago picture is going bad . I will never buy Sony again ! Every thing in my house is Sony and it has all let me down except my surrond sound ,waiting for it to go out any day!!!!!! ————–SONY [...]

everything is great but not economical..if youre crazy about remote sync with your sony sound system, ps3, or other sony products…then this is great…other wise, think again.

Bought it in Feb 2008. Worked great until about a month ago when the right half of the screen goes dark. I bought it from Vanns. They tell me I’m SOL (my words)
I’m outside of the warrante. I think this TV would make a heck of a door stop!
Caveat emptor!!!!

CLOSE CAPTION PROBLEMS – this sony model will not show close caption on high definition channels or ANY channel if you use a HDMI CABLE. So if you use close caption, this is not the set for you.
