I ordered this item from Adorama Camera at the suggestion of Amazon,as the original supplier no longer carried the item. Adorama sent me an e-mail stating that the item (LG 32LH40 32-inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV, Gloss Black), was on back order and if I wanted any information I should call their contact number, which I did. I was told that it would be in, in about two(2) weeks. I asked if they would contact me. Adorama said that they only generate one(1) e-mail to contact costumers, and that if I wanted any information I would have to call them. Again, I called in two(2) weeks; again I was told the item was on back order and Adorama did not know when thay would receive it into stock. I cancelled the order. All this after Amazon had directed me to this supplier.I never received the item

I am happy with this purchase,, perfect for my bedroom , the only thing I don’t like is the clear edging on the outside of the black frame… looks cheap.

Bought mine two days ago after some research indicated it had a better picture than Sony XBR9. A quick comparison in store confirmed that. The first one I bought had a defect with the base. It would not go into the TV far enough to align the holes for the four screws. It went back the next day. The second one assembled fine and I had it up an running quickly with a standard def composite video signal from a Verison FIOS STB. The picture was stunning! Absolutely fantastic! Could’nt wait to get HD input connected. First thing was my Sony BDP-S350 BluRay. No signal could be detected by the LG. Works great on the Samsung Plasma. Next thing was my FIOS HD Box. Aaah, a picture, but no sound?!!!? Tried multiple selections/setups with LG customer service on the phone to no avail. It went back for the Sony XBR9. Connectivity is fine now, just wish I had the stunning LG picture!

Bought two of these and both fit perfectly where we wanted. Picture is superb, even compared with our 60″ DLP, and the sound fills up the room even at low volumes.

like my title says it’s my first TV purchase online. i was a little hesitant at first as most people i think would be. but I’m so glad i did. i ordered late Thursday and was supposed to get it anywhere between Monday and Wednesday (standard 3-5 day shipping) i received it on Saturday. how cool was that. i hooked it up to my wall mount and it’s great. i rated the picture quality 4 out of 5 only because there is better picture quality out there but for this price i guess i should have rated it a 5. i had a big tube that died 2 years ago and wanted another TV but i didn’t have the money considering i had no intention of my TV dieing so i bought a 27″ 720P Olevia better picture then tube but nothing like this. and sound could have been better. i liked it but my big tube was a 32″ and seriously who wants to downgrade in size when it comes to a TV. so i finally saved up and got this. and what a difference.

    Pro’s:

    *No dead pixels

*Sound is awesome once you configure it just right

*menu is easy to use and is user friendly

*had no HDMI issues with sound delay as others mentioned

*picture quality is great, better than anything I’ve owned and better then my parents 50″ Mitsubishi

*the amount of options to customize to your liking is great

*doesn’t burn any images or leave traces when playing games or anything. unlike my Olevia.

*Cinema option cranks up the sound experience 10 fold

*Amazon made me enjoy it 2-4 days sooner then i was supposed to with there fast shipping

    Con’s:

*the only con i have is that since it’s mounted on my wall the power cord is stretched to the max and is barely making it to the surge protector i just wish it was longer.
